Who is That Guy I'm Talking To?

Looking for love and a bit tired of the dating game, I decided to check out a cool site I found that was for friendship and other relationships. It was a networking type site, and before I knew it, I had tons of friends - most of them guys.

There was this one special guy - Tom. He was so handsome. He was a lawyer. Supposedly a state prosecutor in the next state over. We talked on the phone a lot. He was divorced, had two kids, and supposedly plenty of money, great looks, and anything else a girl could dream of.

Of course, I should have realized it was all too good to be true. I lost my heart to this guy, and about six months later we decided to meet.

When we met, I realized that picture must have been at least 10 years old. There was no handsome man. Instead he was unshaved, un-kept, and definitely not a lawyer. We had been doing the online dating thing for several months, but after we met, he dumped me. He said I wasn't pretty enough. This was interesting from someone who was 180 degrees different from his picture and profile. Now when I'm meeting guys online, I always wonder, who is the REAL guy that I'm talking to!
