Welcome to our vibrator techniques page. There is no doubt that the use of vibrators expands the range of sexual possibilities for women. Here are some of the best tips for using a vibrator to try and enjoy.

Women and Vibrators

Women and Vibrators

How you choose to use a vibrator depends on the type of vibrator you fancy.

Cylindrical vibrators are traditionally designed to look like a giant penis; others have a smooth, tubular shape. These are designed for vaginal penetration if you enjoy a feeling of fullness whilst stimulating your clitoris manually at the same time. You can also use the rounded tips of this type of vibrators to buzz against your clitoris, and alternating clitoris stimulation with thrusting as you get more and more aroused.

Dual vibrators are often preferred by women because they are designed for simultaneous vaginal penetration and clitoral stimulation. They incorporate a shaft with a second prong that serves as a clitoris tickler. Some of these have a rotating mid-section (filled with tumbling coloured balls) to stimulate the sensitive first third of the vagina. You can adust the strength of the vibration and rotation independently. Dual vibrators are the lazy woman's choice. In terms of technique, there is not much more to do than insert the shaft, position the prong against your clitoris and lay back to enjoy the sensations. Be prepared to reach an orgasm faster than you ever thought possible!

Strap-on Vibrators are popular because they leave your hands free to caress other parts of your own (or partner's) body. When using during couple play, the person wearing a vibrating strap-on feels the vibrations as well as the person being penetrated.

Personal Massagers are vibrators that are used for external stimulation and most suitable for those who prefer general all-over stimulation. The padded head diffuses the vibrations and spreads them all over the whole area to which the vibrator is applied. An added bonus is that some are designed to relax muscles by delivering heat to the tissues, but be careful when using them near your genitals.

How to Use a Vibrator

The best vibrator techniques are those that fulfil your individual needs. Know you body and experiment with what feels good to you. Here are a few tips:

1. Use the vibrator on your nipples as part of foreplay - even during solo sex. You want to switch on all the erogenous zones of your body to have the best possible orgasm.

2. Make sure you are well lubricated - and use lube if your body needs a bit of extra help.

3. Start slow and on the lowest possible vibration and rotation strength. Gradually build up speed as your body moves through the different phases of arousal.

4. Contract your PC muscles strongly and rhythmically as you build up to orgasm (just as if you're doing pelvic floor exercises ). You'll often find that this action alone quickly pushes you over the edge.

5. Tease yourself a little bit. Alternate vaginal thrusting and vibrating the clitoris to make each subsequent contact between the vibrator and your clitoris even more sensational.

6. Use more than one vibrator at the same time - one to stimulate the soft tissues of the anus, and the other for vaginal and clitoral stimulation. You can also opt to use a dildo for anal penetration whilst using any other vibrator of choice to stimulate you vaginally.

There is no right or wrong when it comes to vibrator techniques - only awesome and spectacular! Relax and enjoy the journey.
