Reader Post: 'Dr. Mia, to answer your question about why some couples have better sex than others, the answer is sexual chemistry!
I'm 27, single and addicted to sexual chemistry, I think... I'm not ready to settle down by far, so i guess I'm chasing the rush of spectacular sexual experiences whenever I feel that special spark between myself and another person. I'm bisexual, so sometimes I find that electrical charge with men and sometimes with women. The gender of the person doesn't matter as much to me as the sexual chemistry between us.
How do I know we've got it? It's all in the first touch. If it sets me on fire, I'm all in!
I don't know why but it seems that I only have chemistry with 'bad boys' and 'bad girls'. It's hot to experiment and act out different fantasies - even get into a bit of S&M. It scares me a bit that this feels so good, because I'm wondering what would happen if I ever fell in love with one of my lovers. I can't say that I trust them with my emotions and I'd hate to get hurt.
On the flip side, I don't know that I'd ever be satisfied with someone who's 'good but safe.' I'd rather not be in a long-term relationship at all than be in one where there is no spark.
It will be interesting to see what the future brings. For now, sexual chemistry works for me. '
