Porn for Women
Porn for women seems to be fairly new territory. After all, we think it's only men who use porn, right?
Well, yes and no. Men do use porn, of course. And more men than women use porn. But studies show that, increasingly, women are viewing online adult content. It seems that women are increasingly attracted to porn since the rise of the Internet.
Women aren't naturally "less sexual" than men or less desirous of sex. Rather, women didn't use as much porn before the Internet because of the social stigma attached to a woman walking into a bookstore and purchasing a copy of Playgirl. Now people can log on in the privacy of their own home (or office, or dorm room) — no one has to know.
The last decade has shown not only a rise in women who use porn, but also a rise in pornography specifically designed for and marketed to women.
In the end using porn when you engage in
solo sex
or as part of your sexual repertoir with your partner, is every woman's own decision.
