So... Does love at first sight exist?Love at first sight is when you feel a romantic attraction to a stranger the very first time your eyes meet. It may be a sexual attraction or crush, but it usually refers to falling in love with someone the very first time you see them, along with the deep desire to have an intimate relationship with them.In the classical world, the phenomenon of love at first sight was understood within the context of passionate love, a kind of madness or, as the Greeks put it, theia mania (madness from the gods), delivered by love's arrows. The arrows would pierce a lover's heart and overwhelm them with desire and longing.
