A Healthy Body for Better Sex

Living Life Fully

The longer I live, the more I achieve a heightened awareness of what it means to live life to its fullest. Living life fully may mean something different to every individual, but at the very least, I would love for you and I to be playing, working, dancing, painting, travelling, doing yoga, golfing, snowboarding, relaxing, hiking, connecting with nature, making love like a tiger, or whatever it is that makes you feel fully alive and your heart sing. Not only do I want you to live well, I also want you to look great and feel spectacular.

So what does a healthy body have to do with better sex? It all starts with how you look after your body and what you put into it. If you don’t get that right, there is no way you will be able to perform at your peak – inside or outside of the bedroom.

You’ve got to work at creating a body that’s functioning at its best level and equipped to deal with the challenges it faces, based on what’s going into it and how well you move it. It’s no secret that eating well, exercising and relaxation practices make you look better and feel better. But for so many people making changes just seems too difficult. The reality is that the simplest changes can make the most profound differences in your life.

Sound too good to be true? Well, I’ve got some fabulous news for you…

The best health and nutrition experts in the world are piecing together a series of simple, clear, real-world guidelines that have a huge pay-off in feeling fantastic, losing weight, living longer and healthier, and cutting your risk of many life-threatening diseases. Here are some of the most important key points:

Better Sex Recommendation

It's just about impossible to feel sexy and desirable when you don't feel good about your body. If you know you're overweight, and you want to change that, don't wait another second. It's easier when you follow a program - and I personally recommend this one:

Simple Guidelines for Living Well

1. Base your diet on a rich variety of fruits and vegetables, preferably in their fresh, natural and whole state;

2. Include healthy carbohydrates from whole grains in your diet;

3. Include healthy fats and protein from foods like fish, beans, and nuts;

4. Minimize processed foods, saturated and trans fats, sodium, and added sugars;

5. Be mindful of calories in and calories out – always eat a little less than you think you need;

6. Don’t skip meals or deny yourself healthy food intake when you’re hungry;

7. Stay far away from trendy diets;

8. Get regular physical activity that you enjoy doing on most days of the week.

9. Balance activity with relaxation practices such as yoga and meditation.

Better Health = Better Sex

Can these simple steps heat up your sex life? It turns out that there are some pretty hot new research observations and findings on the connections among diet, physical activity, and better sex. For example, obesity is a risk factor for sexual dysfunction in both sexes, whilst a Mediterranean-style diet rich in whole grains fruits, vegetables, nuts and olive oil seems to be effective in improving sexual functioning in both men and women.

Looking after your body is a powerful tool for a richer, more pleasurable and fulfilling sex life. How’s that for a grand benefit?
