G-Spot Delight
Who would say no to the promise of sensational orgasms for the very low price of a bit of extra experimentation? Not me. Hopefully not you.
Just don't get too hooked into the idea that you actually have to find it. Keep the search light-hearted and enjoy the journey. For many women the destination is a bonus and because we're all unique, that's perfectly okay.
The What-Spot?
So here's the low-down on the elusive G-spot, named by the German gynaecologist who first documented it in 1944, Ernst Grafenberg.
The G-spot is often compared to the male prostate. In fact, some doctors even believe it should be renamed the female prostate.
Women describe orgasm stimulated from this area as a deeper and more overwhelming feeling than climaxing through clitoral stimulation alone. It is explained as a more pervasive wave-upon-wave, flowing-like sensation which occurs throughout the whole body.
The G-spot is located about 2.5cm to 5cm inside the vagina on the front wall. Prior to
sexual arousal,
it is about the size of a pea, but it increases in dimension as you near
orgasm.
A better way of thinking is that it is probably more of a zone than a spot. Feel for a rough area that stands out from the silkiness of the vaginal wall.
Stimulating the G-Spot
Stroking is usually the most enjoyable form of G-spot stimulation. Do this by inserting your middle finger into your vagina whilst making a 'come here' motion towards the front vaginal wall. Experiment with pressure to find out what feels best.
Some women report that ejaculation happens more easily during fisting. If this is something you enjoy, don't be surprised if it triggers an ejaculation.
Sensitivity may vary with changes in your hormonal level, so keep experimenting through different phases of your menstrual cycle.
If help is needed....
There are different products on the market to more easily reach and stimulate the G-spot, for example the Crystal Wand. The most important thing is to find something that you are comfortable experimenting with.
Remember also that you're generally more likely to feel your G-spot being stimulated if you have your pelvis raised.
Best Sex Position for G-Spot Stimulation
The best
sex positions
for G-spot stimulation is women-on-top (think reverse cowgirl) and rear entry. Also try bending over from a standing position.
These positions allow more contact with the super-sensitive front wall of your vagina.
Liquid Love
It seems that women today are more open to share stories of their own experiences with female ejaculation.
If you feel the urge to urinate just as you're reaching
orgasm,
you may have the urge to clamp down your PC muscles to force the liquid back into your bladder (the female counterpart of men's retrograde ejaculation). Although you'll still climax with little loss of sensation, it is this act that prevents you from ejaculating.
The secret is not to hold back, but to embrace the feeling, push against the pressure, whilst forcing the fluid out - anything from a teaspoon or two up to just short of a litre.
It is suggested that female ejaculation is more common when women with well-toned PC muscles become highly aroused.
Tantric Sex
Practitioners of
Tantric sex
have been fans of the 'sacred spot' for over 1 000 years. Tantra, of course, is a complex combination of
Tantric yoga,
meditation, ritual and intercourse that originated in India in 3000 B.C.
Tantric lovers describe the stimulation of the G-spot as 'a journey into ecstacy, into the bliss of a prolonged sexual experience, hovering in delight for hours, with wave after wave of sexual pleasure rolling through the body'.
