Hello!
I have actually NEVER orgasmed with a partner, only by myself. I've noticed that, whenever I am about to have one, the other person stops doing what was bringing it on, maybe because they think my heavier breathing/noise means that I've having one?
Thanks.

Solo sex by: Mia
Hi Cherie,
Thank you for taking the time to share your concern. The issue of some women having better solo sex than with a partner reminds me of research that was done in Queensland, Australia a couple of years ago.
It was found that a large percentage of women, especially older women, report to have better orgasms during solo sex. The researchers concluded that amongst other things, it has to do with the fact that there are no distractions, women can focus solely on their own pleasure, and give their imagination free reign.
The answer to having better orgasms with your partner then, may be to find ways to relax your body and mind before sex (have a bath with aromatic oils, ask for a massage), and focus on your own sensual pleasure during the act - at least some of the time! It's also okay to fantasize during sex with a partner.
