Difficulties with Female Orgasm: On Faking It

Reader Post: 'I would love to learn more about female orgasm since I just found out that my wife has been faking orgasm for years. I feel so stupid that I never knew, but honestly, I always thought I satisfied her.

Just recently we started seeing a therapist as things haven't been too good in our relationship for a while. When the therapist asked her about sex, she admitted that she has always been faking orgasm.

I couldn't believe my own ears. I thought I really knew her - but she has been lying to me about something that always meant a lot to me.

The therapist says that her difficulties with female orgasm are not my fault, and that many women struggle to climax. On one level I understand it, but on another level I'm furious. How can I trust her again? I don't even feel like making love to her ever again.

My wife wants to work on our relationship but I'm seriously thinking of walking away. I just want to find out more about these kinds of difficulties with female orgasm, because if I ever make love to another woman, I want to know whether her climax is real or not.'
