Masturbation Techniques for Men

Advanced masturbation is for women who know their way around a man's body (see penis games ). It's great to spice up your love life too...

Engrossed in a movie? Keep your eyes on the screen and let your fingers do the walking. You're much more likely to get away with a bit of play in public too: imagine being on a plane with a blanket over both your laps. Or make time fly when you're stuck in traffic.

Done well, a hand-job feels quite heavenly. Ready?

Try this:

Male Masturbation Tips

1. Position yourself comfortably

The best position for guy masturbation is straddling his chest facing his penis. Otherwise, get him to kneel on the bed in front of you, or stand in front of the bed while you sit on it. You want both your hands free and be as comfortable as possible so you can take your time and really spoil him.

2. Grip

You can progress to advanced masturbation once you've got the basic stroke right.

Your best grip is just below the groove of his penis, with the skin back as far as it will go. Holding the skin back hard during intercourse works for both circumcised and uncircumcised men as an accelerator, and offers an exciting sensation of its own. Careful though, if you're too gentle, your touch may feel like 'nothing' but too firm hurts!

Use both your hands – one holding your lover’s penis steady, or fondling the scrotum; the other making a thumb-and-first-finger ring, or a whole-hand grip. Most men enjoy it if you vary this grip by changing hands often.

A variation is to join your hands, thumbs crossed and fingers interlaced. Wet your palms first with saliva or use plenty of lube.

Be aware that the frenulum is sensitive to stretching. Use a lubricated palm over the glans with your thumb massaging the frenulum. Variations are to hold your little finger directly on it circling smaller and smaller; flicking across it with your tongue; or sustain pressure while he simply relaxes.

Try squeezing the base of the shaft to maintain the erection.

Your partner may also like to have his scrotum cupped in one of your hands, licked or gently massaged when you’re masturbating him.

For the cherry on the cake, massage his prostate gland firmly or stroke it in a downward direction when he approaches orgasm.

3. Tempo

A constant, steady rhythm is important to build sexual tension in advanced masturbation. If you’re in tune with your lover, you will intuitively know when to slow down to keep him in suspense; when to speed up and how much pressure and movement to use. Time your actions in bursts to coincide with his needs. Watch his body language, but if you’re unsure, don’t hesitate to ask.

Don't go too fast too soon. You don't want him to get insensitive to your touch, so a s-l-o-w build-up usually feels sensational. Build steadily to an exquisite climax - with a few interesting twists and turns along the way...

If you really want to become good at advanced masturbation techniques, watch your partner masturbate himself to orgasm. Observe the tightness of his grip, the speed of the strokes and length of movement. Some men go right to the bottom of the shaft; others concentrate more on the head. You can even put your hand over his so that you can feel the pressure and rhythm he uses.

You can alternate between copying his favourite self-stimulation methods with your own rhythms for a surprising effect.

Guy masturbation usually doesn't take that long. Most men are able to reach orgasm fairly quickly – usually between two to five minutes. You can of course prolong the pleasure for as long as you both enjoy it.

What to do if your hand feels like it's about to fall off? Give your fingers a rest by simply wrapping them around his penis, holding still, but firm. Stopping for a few seconds can up the tension deliciously, so don't feel guilty!
